One off bespoke installations for cafes, hotels, homes…

Whilst travelling and surfing in Sri Lanka in December 2023, the owners of the Kip - a truly stunning small boutique hotel in Ahangama town - if I would be able to do a beach combing installation directly on the wall of their reception area based on the framed pictures that I had shown them. I agreed to do and went off to the local beach known locally as the Secret Beach to collect the material I would need - larger pieces of broken shell, coral, stone, wood, dried seaweed etc. were found and I then spent the next day laying the pieces out before adhering each piece directly to the wall. The shell installation was very  positively received by both owners and guests and I really enjoyed working on it.
